Below is a list of when you would typically get anodized vs. not anodized extrusions;

Anodized:

  1. The final parts require clear or black (colors offered) anodize.
  2. You have no plans to anodize any other parts.
  3. The ends of the cut extrusion are covered up or the exposed ends is not a concern.

Not Anodized:

  1. The final parts don’t require an anodized coating.
  2. You plan to anodize the final parts with other parts, for example the panels.
  3. The final parts require anodize on the ends of the cut extrusion.
